After working for many years to develop M3 (short for Macro Molecular Metal) for various industrial applications the researchers and engineers at M3 Composite Industries (M3ci) made a startling discovery; M3 Metal Composite is beautiful.
Composites utilizing many of the same properties of M3 are used in Aerospace, Marine and Medical industries mostly for its light weight, strength and anti-microbial characteristics. M3ci has uncovered a host of aesthetic qualities that build on this remarkable material's benefits.
M3ci is dedicated to the research, development, marketing and distribution of the finished materials and components of M3. M3ci’s mission is to identify industries that can benefit from M3; provide R&D, testing, ROI and then integrate M3 into the existing manufacturing process.

What is M3?
Gas Metal Atomizer
M3 which is short for Macro Molecular Metal is made up of metal that has been deconstructed to the macro molecular level, re-alloyed and then reconstructed creating a completely new metal composite material. Metal deconstruction requires very specialized equipment (see photo) that super heats the metal and then shoots it with water, gas or plasma causing it to explode into molecules of specific shape and size. Combining high concentrations of this macro molecular metal with highly refined chemical binders creates a chemical reaction that causes the molecules to crosslink forming a new and in many cases superior molecualr structure.
One of the many unique characteristics of M3 is that it is electronically depleted and will not cause electrolysis within its own structure. This means that new combinations of metals, even those combining dissimilar metals are now possible. Scientists and engineers can now create lightweight

"Space Age Metals" that work with traditional wood working tools have raised the bar for craftspeople of all types. Macro Molecular Metals (M3) are the new composite metals that make everything from the new Boeing 787 to the International Space Station possible. This material is made with as much as 85% of the real metal that has been atomized down to a fine powder (on the molecular level) and combined with special chemical binders to form a new composite material called M3 (short for "Macro Molecular Metal").
M3 is mostly used for its astounding structural properties but it is now being recognized for its remarkable beauty as well. The new metal has the same visual characteristics of the source metal with a surface hardness that will allow an unbelievable gem quality finish, yet it will turn on a wood lathe with standard wood turning tools. You can sand, file, rasp, carve, drill or Dremel this remarkable dense and stable material which will hold the finest of details down to a knife’s edge.
